What to expect from this position

We are seeking a Business Development Manager based in Tunisia, with a strong network across Africa, to lead the expansion of DEDA’s solution portfolio. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 years’ experience in business development within the tech, finance, or cybersecurity sectors, and a track record of successful project acquisition or client growth in Africa. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business development strategies for DEDA’s offerings in Cybersecurity, Financial Services, and AI-driven Digital Transformation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government entities, financial institutions, enterprises, and strategic partners across Africa.
  • Identify new market opportunities and lead the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
  • Represent DEDA at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across the region.
  • Work closely with the technical and delivery teams to ensure alignment between client needs and solution offerings.
  • Support the creation of proposals, commercial offers, and presentations tailored to African markets.
  • Provide regular market intelligence and feedback to support strategic planning and innovation.

Must Have

  1. Minimum 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership roles in relevant industries (cybersecurity, finance, AI/digital).
  2. Proven success in expanding business and securing deals in African markets.
  3. Strong network of C-level contacts, public sector stakeholders, and strategic players in Africa. 

Soft skill that we consider important

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Ability to work independently and travel within Africa when required.
