True prosperity is measured not just in economic terms, but in the overall well-being it fosters within the local community, individuals, and all stakeholders—both near and far. Every decision we make has an impact on society, so we operate in alignment with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
From our internal organization to financial management, environmental protection, and social progress, we strive to build a sustainable future where value and responsibility grow together. Deda’s Corporate Governance is demonstrated through concrete actions that align with ESG principles and the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Our vision for development combines competitiveness, ethical responsibility, and the active engagement of our employees. We believe that a positive work environment enhances individual well-being and strengthens both the organization and society as a whole. To support the work-life balance of our Deda People, we have launched numerous initiatives, as we are convinced that corporate well-being drives sustainable growth. Our values—fairness, honesty, transparency, equity, and professionalism—are reflected in our Code of Ethics and the Business Ethics Code adopted by Assinform.
Our commitment to social responsibility extends beyond the company, with initiatives designed to positively impact the communities in which we operate. We have implemented an SA8000-certified management system to ensure adherence to social responsibility principles and worker protection. Additionally, we have broadened the scope of our Social Responsibility Policy—initially adopted during the SA8000 certification process—to include inclusivity and gender equality.
This decision further illustrates the Group’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility, encompassing the ethical treatment of employees, clients, suppliers, and stakeholders. This aligns with the broader ESG framework we actively pursue. Since 2016, we have held the Family Audit certification, a corporate and managerial tool that promotes a company culture focused on work-life balance. This is another step toward making our workplace increasingly inclusive and responsive to the needs of our people.
Our governance model ensures effective business management that complies with both national and international regulations. We believe that ethical business conduct is essential for a company’s success and long-term sustainability. At the core of our governance framework is the Organization, Management, and Control Model adopted by our parent company, Dedagroup SpA, along with several other companies within the Group, in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001. This structured system establishes guiding principles and operational procedures aimed at maintaining sound corporate management and preventing potential offenses. Conducting a risk assessment, which is required by law under the 231 Model, serves as a crucial tool for preventing corruption.
This assessment is carried out annually by the Supervisory Body across all Group companies. We also embrace international best practices to protect personal and corporate data and safeguard information from internal and external threats. Ensuring service continuity and data security are top priorities for us.
We believe that contributing to sustainable development is both an ethical responsibility and a strategic commitment. Our environmental policy is based on clear principles: reducing waste, minimizing our environmental impact, and being aware of the social implications of our choices. We are dedicated to lowering our ecological footprint by implementing a shared environmental management system across all companies in our group.
Internal communication is crucial
for our organization. We ensure that all employees receive the information
necessary to understand company procedures and make informed, responsible
decisions. Ultimately, the commitment of each individual is vital, driving a
collaborative effort towards our sustainability goals. Since 2016, our
initiatives have been certified under ISO 14001, achieved at our headquarters
in Trento.
This initial effort marks the beginning of an ambitious journey for us — one aimed at monitoring, reducing, and mitigating the environmental impact of our activities and addressing critical issues such as diversity, gender equality, and social inclusion. We aim to extend ESG best practices across all companies within our Group, generating a positive and lasting impact. It is a commitment that drives us to be determined toward the publication of our first sustainability report — a milestone we aim to achieve shortly. We are fully aware of our responsibility as an organization, and as individuals, we are determined to actively contribute to sustainable development in harmony with current regulatory frameworks.
