Dedagroup has implemented a management system in line with the SA8000 - Social Accountability Certification in support of the principles and values that have always guided the Group’s policies on personnel management and Social Responsibility.
SA8000 is an international, voluntary standard that Dedagroup has chosen to adopt in order to develop an effective Social Accountability Management System.
The certification will help validate the Group’s existing policies and identify potential areas for improvement in pursuing Sustainability and Social Responsibility goals.
The management system complies with the eight social requirements outlined in the standard, which refer to fundamental human and labor rights:
Whistleblowing procedures provide staff and other informants with secure channels to report fraud, corruption, or serious misconduct within organizations.
These procedures often require the processing of personal data (also referred to as personal information), such as information relating to individuals suspected of misconduct, whistleblowers, and/or other third parties, such as witnesses.
EU institutions and bodies are required to have clear reporting procedures in place. This obligation is established by the EU Staff Regulations, which state that officials aware of potential unlawful activities must report them immediately.
At Deda Group, we have a centralized system to ensure the receipt, management, analysis, and processing of whistleblowing reports, including anonymous ones.
The procedure outlines the operational methods adopted by Dedagroup for the remediation of child labor and the protection of young workers.
