What to expect from this position
You will join
Share One, part of Deda Group, provider of core and digital banking solutions
for credit unions.
The Application Developer I’s role is to define, test, analyze, and maintain
existing software in support of the achievement of business requirements. This
includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and
applications. The application developer will also research, design, document,
and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
Key Responsabilities:
- Assist in writing, testing, and documenting basic software programs.
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Participate in documenting software requirements, objectives, and specifications.
- Work with senior developers and analysts to understand business and technical needs.
- Help execute performance tests to identify bugs or areas for improvement.
- Maintain version control and follow team development processes and coding standards
Must Have
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 1–2 years of programming experience (academic or professional).
- Basic understanding or exposure to: C++; Delphi, SQL, C#, JSON; RESTful Web Services
- Visual Studio, Git, Jira
- Understanding of relational databases and software development principles.

This position primarily involves long periods of computer use, including sitting, typing, and viewing a screen. The employee must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing. Occasional light lifting of materials up to 25 lbs may be required.
