Requirements
In recent years, the Court dei conti has embarked on a primary renewal process of its information systems, adopting the “Cloud First” approach. In this context, the Court dei Conti wished to replace the current on-premises protocol system with a modern SaaS solution, capable of ensuring evolutionary continuity, operational agility and sustainability over time. The new platform was to integrate with the Microsoft ecosystem, particularly SharePoint, and the verticals already in use to support the core business. At the heart of the project were also cost rationalization, reducing the expenses associated, and compliance with the highest security standards, ensuring strict control over access and permissions in view of the sensitive nature of the data processed.
Solutions
Deda Next on the tender the Corte dei conti announced with CiviliaNext Protocollo, a cloud-native solution already adopted by more than 800 Italian public bodies. The system met the complex needs of the Entity thanks to advanced features for document management, interoperability between Homogeneous Organizational Areas of the Entity, collation and granular control of access and permissions. The project, which lasted about 9 months, included the development of custom components and the migration of more than 11 million documents, with 16 years of historical data. User adoption of the system was supported through training courses delivered through webinar sessions, video tutorials and FAQs. New features were developed and integrations managed through APIs. Adoption was supported by training and guided with Agile SCRUM methodology.
